Our limited-release Colombia Tree project is a full-circle moment for Ceremony as we present this washed Caturra lot sourced from 3 producers who were recipients of a tree planting initiative we funded in 2024. Using proceeds from our Climate Project blend, we teamed up with our importer/exporter partner, Caravela Coffee, to plant 390 trees across 10 farms in Huila, Colombia. This project aimed to sequester carbon and offset the emissions of the green coffee we source with Caravela each year, with the goal of 1 ton of carbon for every 3 trees over 10 years. Our sourcing partners Caravela identified these farms as quality-focused and in need of agroforestry support to improve plant biodiversity, enhance soil health, create shade, provide animal habitat, and diversify the farm's productivity. This sustainable farming technique benefits both the environment and farm economics. We couldn't be more excited and humbled to be part of making this impact through Climate Project and Tree Project.
