Rumudamo is named for the washing station in the Sidama zone of Ethiopia. The work of more than 600 farmers comprise this heirloom variety coffee. This naturally processed coffee, also known as sun-dried or dry-processed, is dried using raised beds that ensure even drying, resulting in a clean cup with nice flavor clarity. This coffee works well as an espresso or a filtered brew, presenting fruit-forward notes of tart cherry, candied violet, blood orange, hard cider, and some subtle grape candy notes.
Dial into tart cherry and hard cider with a 1:16 brew ratio, filtered water at 202-205℉, a medium grind, and a 3-3.5 minute brew cycle.
